Liz Lam

I am a Graphic Designer at The College of New Jersey pursuing a career in the sports industry. Over the past four years, I have accumulated various digital and print skills while learning to think creatively and conceptually. As a former athlete who has a love for art, I found a way to merge my passions for design and athletics into one. During my time here at TCNJ, I have constructed many of my projects to revolve around sports and female athletics if possible.

My capstone project consists of a company I made called She is Here Sports. SHS was created to empower female athletics as they do not receive the amount of support and attention they deserve. I was able to produce the rules and regulations for the brand’s identity while creating four different branches of the company. SHS’ branches consist of SHS LIVE (broadcast channel), SHS SPKS (podcast channel), SHS EQ (sporting goods store), and SHS APRL (clothing line).

Over the past two years, I have been working as TCNJ Football’s Social Media Director and grew their following by 1.3k followers through the new brand identity I created for them. I developed a cohesive presence through graphics, videos, and other social content. As I further my career, I dream of working for a pro or collegiate team for the next few years and making a difference as a woman in sports.
