Valeria Hernández Ramírez

I’m a Graphic Designer currently attending The College of New Jersey on track to complete my BFA in Visual Arts with a specialization in Graphic Design and Minor in Interactive Multimedia. As a graphic designer, I am passionate about using visual communication to tell stories and convey messages. I love the way that design has the power to influence and shape our perceptions of the world around us. For me, the process of creating something beautiful and meaningful is incredibly rewarding. Whether it's a logo, a brochure, or a website, I enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect balance between form and function. Through my work, I strive to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also meaningful and impactful.

Over the past four years I’ve learned a variety of design skills from typography, brand identity, to user experience and user interface design. While most designs are made on a computer I enjoy incorporating my illustrative skills and being able to sketch out my ideas with a pencil and paper. Currently, I am proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma. My interests in design for the future are open to a large variety of industries.  I am constantly learning and experimenting with new techniques and tools, and I am excited to see what my future holds for me.
